I use belly bands for my Joey. I made them with Disney and Scooby Doo characters on them, sooo cute!! I buy the Equate brand of panti liners, cut them in half and use them in the belly bands. I change them often and use baby wipes to clean him. He'll be two in July and he's never had any irritation or rash.
