First time flying with Allegiant and with Pippin in May.

Their underseat dimensions for a pet carrier are: 19" deep; 16" width; 9" high. I called and said most of the carriers online are 10.5 inches high. The customer service rep stated that as long as it was soft sided, 10.5 inches is fine.

If you have flown, what was the pet carrier and size that you used? Pippin is 8 lbs, but tall. At the shoulder she is 9 inches.
