Luxating patella surgery is major surgery. I got three opinions before having Max operated on. An orthopedic surgeon did my dog's surgery and it has a hard recovery period. We are only on day 8 post surgery, and Max has a long way to go. However, Max is seven or eight ( adopted) so your little one will heal faster, I believe.
