So, im feeling guilty for Siri not having a playmate, and i just cannot justify getting another yorkie [YET]...so we're thinking of getting him a kitten. I know this sounds crazy, but i really think they could end up being best buds! Her [tentative] name is StellaBella. She is super freakin cute. BUT HE HATES HER!! i tried introducing them over the weekend, and while she is very interested in him, he is nuts. He barked like a mad man!! and when i picked her up and pet her, Fuggetaboutit. He went crazy. I know the old adage "fighting like cats and dogs" but so many other members have dogs and cats the coexist so well, i thought it may work. We do have 2 cats now, one of which is uninterested in Sirius, and the other one tries to be friendly, but he barks and scares her away. theyve given eachother a kiss in the past, so it looks promising. OK, so enough backstory.

what i was wondering is what is the best way to introduce them?? Is there a way to facilitate them being friends? Is he just jealous of me picking her up?? i dont wanna traumatize the kitten with him yapping in her face. any suggestions and stories would be helpful. thanks guys!
