I would drive and pick up the puppy. I had to have a pet shipped and they kept bumping our pet because there was lots of luggage. She ended up travelling 16 hours instead of 5 hours. I complained to the airlines and they told me luggage is more important than live animals. If the drive to Seattle is not too long I would drive down and pick up your puppy.
