When Bella had her surgery, she had a wrap-around self-sticking bandage that was easy to replace. When her leg was trussed up, it looked like a chicken leg quarter from the supermarket. She did not have to be put under to change her bandage--the self-stick was easy to put on and take off. They sent us home with an extra roll for just in case. I attached a photo of what Bella looked like after her surgery.
We also wheeled Bella in a stroller around the neighborhood just to get her out of the house. We got a top of the line stroller with inflatable tires for a smoother ride. We still wheel her around sometimes when she is being a diva and doesn't want to walk on her leash. |
