I think the Cowboy products can be good - however - just be careful of anything w/ silicones as these can coat the fur and cause other problems down the line.
To be honest, a yorkie's coat can be a LOT of work! There are some coats that are nice and silky and low maintenance. And then...there are the rest of us! We have the tougher, higher maintenance coats.
I can recommend you get the silver metal mustache comb from TopLinePet asap - you absolutely need this for a yorkie coat and for mats and for face. Also, go on Amazon or ebay and get a Tangle Teezer brush - LOVE THEM! SO easy!
Is the coat thick or thin/fine, btw...?
