General rule is: double the weight of the puppy at 12 wks. and add one pound. It seems, though, that anyone who has a Yorkie that turns out much larger than expected adores their 'teapot' size Yorkie.

As for showing that is out of my range of expertise (assuming I even have any.) Might want to post that in the thread about showing dogs. ~Joanne~
Noticed Facebook sell Teacup or miniature yorkies. That should not be allowed, they are breeding rut of the litters with rut of the litters and they tend to have a lot of Heath problems and die earliy like at 2 or 3 years old. I know of people who have been ripped of for buying Teacup yorkies. I forget about Facebook or local advertising and go to the kennel club and get a assured breeder. You get proper paper work, vaccination details and proper after sale attention, and you won't get ripped of. Believe me I know.
