As long as she is eating, drinking, pooping regular and normal and is in no pain I wouldn't think of letting her go. My girl was 17 yo, like yours, eye sight and hearing was very poor, she slept just about 90%, when she was awake I would play with her, it was a dif, type of play, no running things like that, but she still had spirit in her. She also had dementia. Came a day she stopped eating, even turned down her most fav. boiled chicken. Off to the vet we went, they had her 7 days with IV, she lost so much weight, she never came home. That was 3 years ago and I still cry for her and miss her, she was my fav. out of all the yorkies I have had, maybe because I had her the longest. Your baby will let you know when it's her time to say goodbye to you and you will do whats right by her. For now cherish everyday she is with you. HUGS
