Irecently saw an advertisement for Merle colored Yorkies, as if that was something special. Huh? What is that? I used to be somewhat sympathetic towards the Parti breeders who have a good story to back up the color, but I'm losing faith in even that variation. I've had plenty to keep me busy trying to get nice Yorkies within the stated standard. Messing with the gene pool to create new colors is beyond my abilities, or interests.
