I love my non AKC non standard dogs very much. But the problem is when we buy from bad breeders we keep them in business. Once you have seen a dog seriously suffer from terrible issues that are because of bad breeding it makes you want to try and stop it. We euthanize over 2 million pets a year because people just breed. Bad breeders don't check way back in the genetics or do health testing to make sure the puppies will be healthy without issues and this is causing a rise in unhealthy yorkies. Also because bad breeders don't register with a reputable registry a lot of these so called yorkies ( I have seen breeders sell mixes as pure breeds) are actually mixes or don't even look like yorkies so our loved look is fading. We must stop bad breeding. Most people don't know about it when they get their dogs and that does not make their dogs any less but now you know for next time. I just noticed you are from Spain and I am referring to here in the US where it is very bad with dog issues.
