I cut the hair between Monroe's eyes once (huge mistake) and then had to let it grow-out. Like Canana said, you just have to get through the awkward period... which seemed to last forever
(about 6 months I think). I would wet the hair a couple times a day to keep it out of her eyes. It was well worth the effort though as I love having it grown & parted between the eyes.
