We could tell the general color on our three guys at about 7-8 months of age ... then it was just a matter of degree. In other words, how much of their face will be tan or how much of their back will be silver or black? At 3 1/2 the silver is still spreading on Julius' back, and at 1 1/2 years old Maximus is still predominately black on his back with more silver than tan on his face.
