Yep it's a yorkie thing too. My moms rescue had it bad enough to be on daily meds. My girl has it but it's mild she only had one time she needed steroids for a week. My boy does not have it but when he was a puppy we tried every harness and they all pushed on his treachea and made him cough so we had to get the buddy belt 2 which is the cheaper one but it was the only harness that didn't make him couch. I hate any dog really having a leash hooked to there collars because even big dogs cough if they pull on the leash because the collar chokes them.
