Amen to that! People can do anything to an animal and get a fine they may or may not pay and rarely do actual time. It's high time we got some laws that put abusers in a cell for longer than a few months and forget getting off with community service.
Hope that little baby can get all the help in the world and comes through this with a wonderful forever family.
