Make sure he has a save haven to get away from the puppy. Don't force a friendship. Let your boy go to the puppy on his time, his terms. When ever I bought home a new baby my girls headed for high grounds, the sofa lol. It took my older girls 6 weeks to 2 months to stay on the floor and play with the new kid. Make your older boy first in everything, first to be greeted when you come home, first for treats, first to be fed He will except the puppy, but, on his time. Soon they will be BFF.
