Hello everyone. I am new here, new pet owner, and new mom to Brock.
We got him yesterday, he's 8weeks old. Before we took him home, we went straight to the vet for his first parvo shot and deworming. We surprised my 7y/o daughter and she's very very happy.
I felt bad for Brock yesterday as I felt he was too stressed - new family, first car ride and first vaccine. He was very sleepy and lethargic yesterday.
First night went well, he cried a few times in his open kennel in a gated area within the house. Brock went to bed around 8pm and hubby get him around 12 as Brock needs to do his business. He's so good.
Today, he's very much more happy but then still very sleepy. He would play for maybe 45mins and then will go back to his kennel to sleep. Is that normal? I would love to hear from other yorkiemoms. Thanks in advance!
