How in the world can I get my yorkies to sit while clipping their hair on either side of their ears. When they were little I could wrap them in a warm towel, now that they are older it is such a fight!! They sit still for about everything else, but are afraid of the clippers on their ears. I have a wahl clipper and a smaller mustache clipper I use and try to wait until they are tired and about asleep to try. The wahl clipper is very loud. Other than "Hog-Tieing" them is their any training or tricks that we could start using to help them get over this fear?? Needless to say they will need ears trimmed for the rest of their lives..need a way to stop this before it goes on. Oh, my dogs are from 9 mo to 10 wks. Our older male (2 1/2 yrs) just stands there and lets me do anything to him..he just wants it overwith!! Not so with the others!!!! Help!!!!!
