I could really use your prayers this week. My Dad is paranoid schiziphrenic (sp?). We had a huge ordeal with him a couple of years ago and had finally gotten him on some really good medicine. He was soooo much better. Well, in Nov. his medical doctor took him off of all of his meds because of another medical problem. Now we're seeing signs that his paranoia is back. He was in the hospital last week for pneumonia and told us yesterday that one of the nurses tried to kill him and went into detail about it. My Dad has problems with delusion and this is the same pattern we had before only it was the doctor that tried to kill him. He thinks that he's doing great without his meds so we're in for another fight to get him back on meds. I'm not sure that I'm up for another fight. It was so hard the last time. I have my husband to help me and he's very understanding and tries to take a lot of the stress of this for me, but it's still there. My Mom and Dad are divorced and I have only one brother and he lives an hour and a half away, so the burden of this falls on me and my family. Please keep me in your prayers. I am really stressed about this and I have other obligations this week. This was a bad week for this to happen. Please pray for me, my husband and my Dad. Pray that my Dad will be receptive to getting on his meds and that the doctor will see that he needs his meds before his illness gets even worse.
