Comforting to know why this happened. I guess the undigested piece was just too big to get out into the intestines and so the stomach just sent it back! He was fine afterwards and has been since.
Usually i can give him a very small amount of cooked mashed potato and/or veggies and that goes down ok. I also think the extra roughage helps with poops sometimes. I would not risk uncooked veggies, although others here find they are ok. I know cooked carrots go right through him undigested.
Perhaps this should have been in the Rant thread as I was really upset that hubby gave the dog big pieces when I really stressed he mash them up up small. Men!!!!!! LOL!
