. Cuddle them, walk them, play with them, sit with the shy ones / read to the shy ones, talk to them.....every single interaction can make them more adoptable, more open, more secure within themselves -- hence, it can shorten their time in that cage.
Believe me, volunteering at a shelter will give you wayyyyy more than you ever could have imagined. It will be the very best hours of your week, without a doubt
