Introducing a puppy to your adult dog can be done in many ways. There are a lot of recommendations out there. After reading enough articles, you'll see recurring suggestions. Introducing them on neutral grounds is one of them. Here are a few references regarding neutral grounds (and other helpful tips):

Of course, these are only recommendations, which means not everyone chooses to follow them. I tend to err on the side of caution and always do whatever it takes to prevent issues before they happen. You can do what is comfortable for you and what you see fit to your situation. Good luck! Let us know how everything goes.
Thank you. I hope to be able to make her an excellent one. Maybe she can help the family whenever they need some "extra" support.

I am rather cautious so I know what you mean. Neutral ground would be nice-- just have to find a good place where no distractions occur and just me and one other person plus the dogs.
