I'll type this again, because i dont know what went wrong.

Okay thank you. Why would the vet prescribe him that if it was deadly? I recently started taking him to a new clinic where the 1 year old was neutered. They prescribe nexguard (I think that's what it's called, it does fleas/ticks) verus the trifexis doing fleas/heartworm.

Would this be safe to switch the 1 year old over to? I'm going to call the new clinic tomorrow and make an appointment for the pup. He has had shots, but he needs his 12 week shots.

If anyone has any other recommendations on flea meds for puppies that would be great. The vet seemed like trifexis was the best thing for him, but i'm obviously not going back their anymore because the new clinic is veryyy very nice and I want the best for my puppies.

I know each clinic is preferential to which medicine they prefer to give dogs. The first clinic prescribed him trifexis, this new clinic will prescribe him nexguard... either way it's a whole lot cheaper to order flea medicine online than it is to get from the vet, so I don't necessarily have to even go with either of these choices if anyone can think of something better. Thank you everyone.
