Hey guys, my girlfriend and I are all relatively new to this. We have a 1 year old morkie and just today were blessed with an 8 week old morkie. My 1 year old is on Trifexis for flea and heartwork. We have an apartment and the complex we live in seems to be pretty prone to fleas. Basically after about 3 weeks the trifexis seems to stop working and we notice he will start getting fleas again. I personally haven't seem them on myself or my girlfriend. We vacuum and keep everything very clean, I feel like they are more so isolated to him, and it's literally just that last week.

I really don't want the new pup to get fleas and was curious about how early can I get him started on something. He barely weighs anything right now so he's definitely under 5lbs.

The 1 year old gets prescribed trifexis from the vet, but I I was planning on ordering a 6 month supply for him. He gets the trifexis for dogs over 6 lbs. I was thinking about ordering the same thing for the pup but for the pups under 5lbs.

Does anyone know if this is okay to do or if there is a better option for a pup so small and so young?
