Hi
DOn't give metronidazol if she is vomiting, it will make her vomit more. You could give her a little Maalox to settle her stomach. I dont' like the fever part I have never had a bitch run a fever during a heat. They can be a little 'off' as they are a little confused to what is happening to them.
DId they run a blood test to check for any infection? There may or may not be one and it may not be in the uterus, it could be elsewhere. Is there a possibility of an impacted baby tooth that she didn't lose?
The nutrical should help with the stools or you could give a little mineral oil In a Yorkie give no more than a few drops from an eye dropper. I am just not sure if the symptoms you describe have anything to do with a first heat.
But it is a good sign if you have gotten her to eat. Make sure she is drinking give water by mouth with a syringe if you have to. A little pedialtye for a day or two wouldn't hurt either. This is the electrolyte you buy in the drug store for babies. cost is less than $2 for small one. Give about 3 cc's about 4 times a day for a couple of days then stop. The bottle once opened, should be kept in the fridge and only for 72 hours, throw out whatever is left after that.
