Is peanut butter okay for them? We used to give it to our dog stuffed inside one of those kong balls for when we'd leave for some appointment (1-3hours time) to keep her busy.

I heard some friends say that it's good to give dogs chicken livers or w/e every now and then because its packed with vitamins and stuff. Do you guys ever give that-- and if so do you give it as is or do you boil it?

What dry food brands do you guys like? We currently use wellness simple for our other dog-- she has sensitive stomach so it works well for her.
Yes, that's totally fine - variety is a good thing! Don't let the "extras" exceed about 15% of their total diet - that way, the vit/min etc ratios/RDAs will still be in balance.

Yep, PB okay. Mine love it too.

I don't do the livers - that's totally up to you. You can give it either raw or cooked. Raw would give you the most nutritional benefit. Just be warned: livers can cause some dogs some looser stools.

I feed raw (have for 8-ish years) - right now feeding Better In The Raw - where you just add your own raw meat.

As far as good kibbles, these: Natures Logic Venison, Wellness Core (Simple is great too!), Solid Gold Wee Bits, Natures Variety Raw Boost, Natural Balance LIDs....

But remember to always save/hold back some novel proteins in case of allergies later in life!!!
