Is peanut butter okay for them? We used to give it to our dog stuffed inside one of those kong balls for when we'd leave for some appointment (1-3hours time) to keep her busy.

I heard some friends say that it's good to give dogs chicken livers or w/e every now and then because its packed with vitamins and stuff. Do you guys ever give that-- and if so do you give it as is or do you boil it?

What dry food brands do you guys like? We currently use wellness simple for our other dog-- she has sensitive stomach so it works well for her.
As long as snacks only make up 10% of their diet your fine. Peanut butter is ok just make sure there is no xylitol in it. I never give chicken liver but I use freeze dried liver treats for training. I'm a big fan of Royal Canin and hills ideal balance but there is nothing wrong with Wellness. I would stay far away from purina and blue buffalo. With a puppy it's best to keep them on the food the breeder is feeding for a little while as they get used to their new home so your not stressing them out.
