Omg that's SO ME! And because prior to heading out, Piper and I have had heart-to-heart about the particular issue at hand, I'm always (yep, every dang time) taken aback that she doesn't behave in the manner I thought we had agreed upon. She's mighty good at convincing me she totally sees my point-of-view and concurs it's for the best, so "ok, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon..." Piper's little cocked head, sparkly intense stare, and non-wiggly sit, all serve to assure me we just had a 'good talk.' One time a couple stopped to pet her and when done, I had to tug leash to get Piper moving, which she did--all slow and sad and tragic--and as I laughingly looked back at couple, they were both obviously'ooohhh' (fill-in: poor little thing).
