DON'T feel lousy. You're doing what you can and still looking for more ways! I don't know about the milkbones helping. Chewie is still weird with any bone shapes. As a matter of fact, the one on one with the trainer tomorrow I have written down to ask. She does this twitter whining while holding any bone in her mouth. like a bird that whines like a dog. Bizarre.
Chewie has a malformed molar and a missing baby tooth that never grew in. Tartar already forming, and comes from a breeder riddled with dings on his certificate/license. My vet wasn't worried at all first, either. I did the usual precautions and even still try to brush, even though it's not thorough.

You're doing great! Piper's lucky to have you!

Ann, I will order this the second I find out WHERE. any search leads me to a page that isn't healthy mouth. I see one that is 41.95 in a bottle that has droppers? *adding that dropping the healthy mouth for pets and entering "healthy mouth" in google pulled it right up. I have to laugh.
