I remember that feeling of bringing home a new baby; Sunny adjusted amazingly right from day 1.
As for treats, we use his (dry) dog food as a reward (and as an incentive to leash him up- Mr. Piggy refuses to let us leash him unless he gets a treat for that, too; so glad my dad taught him that!).
As he gets older you may want to look at baking treats for him. That way you know what the ingredients are and you can ensure it won't upset his stomach (they do have sensitive tummies). |
