We use Healthy Mouth. I don't know how much it helps but it does not hurt. It took Cali a while to get used to it but now she does not even notice it.
Cali is having some pretty major dental issues. Has lost a tooth on each of her last 3 yearly dentals. Now we are going to dentals every 6 months, and a program of clindamycin for one week of every month. Don't like that idea necessarily but i have to get a handle on her dental issues. Being a medical person I embrace the dangers that oral disease causes for the entire body/organs.
She is just 4 pounds and although I brush daily and use the Healthmouth she is still losing teeth. She is awesomely healthy other than that so I think genetics and that tiny mouth are what we are battling!
Open to all dental suggestions - not a fan of any of the raw hide stuff however!
