I was wondering if this might be a help while you are finding the right food. How about giving him a multi vitamin and minerals meant just for small dogs? I give that to my Joey with his medical condition is why I thought of it.It might be a great benefit since what he is on has ingredients you do not care for. I buy it online from a family owned business. I will give you the name of it later if you are interested as I am not by it and I have a terrible memory.lol l call it Teflon cause everything slides right off. Lol Hope you find the solution soon as I understand the anxiety about what is a good food! He only gets prescription food that he likes fine so that worry is off my mind.
