When we got Sylvie 4 weeks ago, we had no idea what kind of schedule she had. We both work, but I'm home at lunch every day. We started by letting her roam the back yard (it's fenced in, so no worries), and she always goes both potties when there are dogs in the neighbor's fenced in yards, because she gets so bada$$ barking at them, like she's as big as they are! We now do a combination of walking on a leash and running in the back yard. Since she's 11 lbs, she's big enough for walking on a leash. Oh, and treats, lots and lots of treats. Whoever stated they respond well with treats is on the money! She looks at me like I'm a crazy person if she doesn't get a treat (she doesn't get one if she doesn't do her business)...

I digressed a little, but hope it helped.

I must also admit this is a breed that is a lot of fun to have around.
