Dolly was my first dog ever & the most loving dog in the world. At 1 year old she began her work in a hospital & has since given love to anyone who ever needed it. Just 3 days ago we arrived in Wisconsin to be with my sister Janet (who lived with us in Vegas for 5 years) in her final days. Dolly never left Janet's bed here at the assisted living home during the day, but slept with me in the hospitality room at night. This morning she fell off my bed & died immediately.

I spent some time with her little body & then brought her downstairs to Janet's room. Janet wanted to hold her & it was so bittersweet. The priest came to give Janet her last rites a few hours later & told us Dolly must have wanted to be waiting in heaven for Janet.

It seems only fitting that Dolly died at a care facility for the elderly after visiting such homes most her life. I will miss her so.............& Teena will miss her "big" (under 3 pounds) sister........
