Yorkie pregnancy is dangerous to the health of the dog under the best of circumstances, and if you did not plan everything out ahead of time and choose the mother and father very carefully after performing genetic screens for health issues, etc., etc., then you should take your dog to the vet for an emergency spay as soon as possible. This is especially true if the father is not another Yorkie--the size of the puppies could kill the mother during childbirth. We're not being judgmental here--we're concerned for the health and safety of the mother and the unborn puppies. Based on what you've told us, this was an unplanned pregnancy and you're not sure about prenatal care of the mother, so if this is the case, absolutely get an emergency spay.
