He does have problems with his trachea and the vet thinks its related to the noises. He gave me an antihistamine with prednisolone. He thinks Scooter may be reacting to all the pollen in the air (we live in Florida and the pollen is a real problem) so the antihistamine and the prednisolone to reduce any swelling or inflammation to his trachea. If that doesn't work we'll try something else.
I had a Shi Tzu who snored but this goes way beyond snoring. Its a compilation of every sound a dog can make....except growling. I did think of putting him in another room but that would be the very last resort because his sis Bitsy would be with me and he would be isolated from us.
We'll try the medicine tonight and pray that it works. Thanks all for your concern I'll keep you posted.
