I'd let her drink when she's thirsty but that's just me. I just can't stand being thirsty myself so I'd hate my baby to be thirsty, especially after vigorous exercise. Maybe you can redirect her to playing ball or tugowar with you on the couch or bed to try to curtail her zoomies.
