Well, I can't talk about most of what is going on, I'm far from an expert, and am only solid on my gal's issues. However, a vet that is just too.... rough... with my gal had to see her with yet another bout of gastro. He said something that stuck with me, so I'll pass it to you. "Jennifer, we can go round and round trying to take the time to figure out her problems. However, in my experience, with these little guys? Taking them to a specialist is by far better and faster for your dog." If her test that we are taking doesn't show what we think it will, that's our next step. I don't believe in poking and prodding by process of elimination, and a specialist (internist) would be a much safer vet. That's just my opinion though, so, please, take it with a grain of salt.
