Paddy has never really done the wiping thing, but my Kenzy (who is four) has always wipe his feet THOROUGHLY after he goes to the bathroom. In fact, sometimes he makes such a production of it that it seems he puts more effort into the wipe than the deed.
He also wipes his feet after he "nests" sometimes too in the bed covers. He is quite the character!
