I feel for you about the clean ups. My Casie baby (1.5 years) has long hair and I don't always see when she pees on the pad. So from time to time, I'll see her pee-swipe-markings on the floor and have to clean it up.
One day, I'll trim them down. But for now, to admire their beautiful long hair, I don't mind the extra cleanup work.
