Congrats on your little one! How exciting!! It's a good idea to hold her often. How can you not!
Only this I would say is that with one that is smaller, be very very careful and not allow them to jump on or off things (i.e. beds.. couch etc). You need to protect those teeny tiny legs.
I also had to adjust having to watch my step to avoid stepping on them! As puppies, they have no idea how to avoid being stepped on!
