As many of you know, I've been struggling with my weight for a long time. Unlike many of you in the weight loss thread, I needed to lose 120 lbs. In Dec. I went to the doctor and my cholesterol was very high. I decided to "take the bull by the horns" and get healthy again.
I go to Curves (which I love!) at least 4 times a week, and even went when I was in Mexico! I'm proud to tell you I have lost 26 lbs. and almost two dress sizes! I am eating non-fat cottage cheese, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, more chicken and fish and a lot less red meat. Every now and then, I will treat myself when we go out. Yesterday, we went out to dinner and I ate what I wanted. The difference is...now I WANT different things and I can't eat a whole plate of food!
My knees already feel so much better! Now if I could just get rid of this darn heel spur! Its always something in your late forties!!!!!!
