I hate what it does to their coats, but we have vicious ticks here in NC, and I would not let my pups on the ground without it. Tried that once, and never again. Poor babies had ticks galore. No more!!

The box says maximum application is monthly, but it does also say that it will continue to kill for 3 months. We use it every couple months.
