My boy was on Apoquel for two years, he had no side affects at all, he was 3 years old. Apoquel will not give your dog the urge to eat its own poop. My boy makes outdoors, I have to watch him or else he will eat his poop, this was before Apoguel, during and after. My now passed girl who was never on any allergy meds would her own poop if I didn't watch her, so poop eating has nothing to do with the Apoquel, it's the nature of your dog. Out of my 4 females only one was a poop eater (her own). Just watch him, don't allow him to eat his poop, clean up as soon as he goes.
