The "hypoallergenic thing" was diagnosed by our doctor after she kept having problems from the 2 dogs. She had several tests to determine this diagnosis. It was never an issue while she was around my 1st yorkie, which was 2 years old when she was born. I thought I was gonna have to give my yorkie away when she was diagnosed but the doctor said she could be around her, but not the other dogs. She spends a lot of time with my new yorkie and did with our other yorkie with no flare ups (other than the puppy dander at first).
