I really think she did it out of spite. I never had training issues with Thumper and Boomer so this is all new to me.
I did yell and tell her no. I was just tired, worried and overwhelmed. I just bought some doggy diapers I am now going to put on her for when she roams the house. I just hope I cleaned it up enough with the eliminator that she will not do it again. |
Dogs don't work like that with out of spite. Diapers are a really bad idea, it teaches them nothing. You also have to clean them very well after they go in the diaper or they will get urine scald and rashes which could lead to infections. Your best bet would be a play pen that keeps her in a certain area when you can't watch her. Yelling at her after the fact will just confuse her. Are you giving her a treat when she goes in the right place? Giving him a treat just for being good in front of her isn't going to do anything unless he is getting it because he went potty or did say a trick it's just kinda mean to be like oh here is a treat for you but not you.
