Default Anipryl or Selegiline for dementia

Wondering if anybody has had experience using Anipryl to treat dementia? It looks like it's also used for Parkinsons disease in humans and canine Cushings disease. After doing some research I found Selegiline is a generic for Anipryl and wondering if anybody has tried that? Dosage?
