The website linked above lists Blue Buffalo Life Protection as their top choice. I've had bad experiences with Blue Buffalo. Their product is inconsistent. I purchased a bag that was completely devoid of "life source bits." Others have gotten bags that contain nothing but "life source bits." Since they put vitamins in those "life source bits," this is extremely troubling since inconsistent mixes mean that your dog could get too little or too much vitamins, leading to deficiency or toxicity. Also, their kibble size is larger and harder for my Bella to chew and swallow. If they could get their act together and blend all of their ingredients into one kibble, I'm sure their food would be fine, but right now, their use of "life source bits" is a dangerous marketing ploy.
