Pest control around or in the home generally isn't that helpful. Pesticides used on lawns and in gardens probably have the most impact. Most of our ticks here fall out of trees onto us. Teddy is a magnet for ticks. He must have the right scent because the bugs always go to him and leave Max alone.
Had the very same thing happen to me this past summer, only I bent my head while sitting and the tick fell on my leg I attract more ticks then Cody does maybe I should start on tick prevention lol.

Agree, ticks are not like fleas that multiply rapidly.
