We bought one of those Turf things and he's pooped on that a couple times but doesn't seem to want to urinate on it or hasn't yet. It would make things much easier if he would start urinating on it because we live on the third floor with no elevator thank you. Koda Bear
Wookie is my first Yorkie, and despite all the stories about them being difficult to housetrain, she was ridiculously easy. We do live in a house though, with a very secure garden, and we got Wookie in the summer. We booked the week off after we got her, and just left the back door open. She cottoned on to the idea of going out to the toilet by the end of that first week. Yes, she had a few accidents until she was a bit older, but now she clearly signals when she needs to go outside, whatever the weather. We haven't had an accident in the house since she was four months old, and those were our fault for not picking up on her signals quickly enough.

All I can suggest is patience, perseverance and routine. Wookie generally does a number two twice a day. In the morning, and at night. If you have a pretty settled routine for feeding and exercise, you may well find that your pup becomes as predictable, at least with solid matter! Perhaps you could try getting a small pen, to line with pee pads, that you pop your pup into at regular intervals, just until peeing on those becomes second nature.
